Murox: Stageline project named finalist for green award

The project executed by Murox for Stageline Group in L’Assomption, Quebec, has been named a finalist in the 2009 Énergia Contest held by the Association québécoise pour la maîtrise de l’énergie (AQME). The Stageline project is a finalist in the Green Building/Sustainable Building category.
The Énergia Contest showcases outstanding Quebec initiatives in energy efficiency and energy use with a view to sustainable development. AQME will host the awards ceremony on November 18.
The Stageline building is the most energy-efficient industrial building in Quebec, reducing energy consumption by 69%. When it designed this facility, Murox exceeded energy efficiency standards in industrial construction by successfully integrating superior energy-efficient technologies. Today, the Stageline building serves as a model of sustainable, cost-effective and environmentally responsible construction.
