The Stageline building wins an Award of Excellence in Architecture

The names of the recipients of the 2009 Awards of Excellence have been revealed. This announcement, made by the Ordre des architectes du Québec at a ceremony held June 18 at the Centre CDP Capital in Montreal, follows a lengthy promotional campaign featuring public and cultural events (trade show, architectural presentations, guided tours) and a host of publications that introduced the finalists to the public.

The Stageline building, executed by Murox, earned the Award of Excellence in the Architecture and Sustainable Development category, the Loto-Québec People’s Choice Award as well as the Synergy Award, presented to Murox president Pierre Arcand for his collaboration and outstanding contribution to the Stageline project.

Close to 500 people – architects, clients, artists and partners – attended the ceremony which took place during the Festival of Architecture and Forum organized by the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada.
