| Description: |
As a detailer at Steel Plus, your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Drafting and detailing steel joist layouts according to customer requirements and standards;
- Preparing clear, complete and accurate joist layouts from sketches, notes and drawings;
- Collecting information from all available sources, including contract documents, codes, reference drawings, etc.;
- Performing verifications for dimension correctness and interference between elements;
- Incorporating and compiling any possible adjustments or changes made necessary by revised drawings;
- Utilizing computer-assisted drafting (CAD) equipment and software, as well as in-house custom software.

| Requirements: |
- Diploma in civil engineering, architecture or mechanical engineering
- 2 to 3 years’ experience in detailing, preferably in steel/metal structures
- Good working knowledge of the most recent version of AutoCAD or other detailing software
- Proven ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures and drawings and meet job expectations
- English communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
