| Description: |
As a structural steel detailer at Technyx Euro Services, your responsibilities will include the following:
- Draft and detail complex steel structure 2D elements and 3D models according to customer requirements and standard practices based on contract documents
- Collect information from all available sources in order to prepare accurate and complete drawings
- Verify dimension correctness and/or identify any interference between elements
- Provide technical support including teaching methods and procedures to less experienced detailers
- Perform final checking of drawings
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor

| Requirements: |
- Diploma from a technical university or related experience and training
- Ability to understand, analyze and interpret technical procedures, government regulations, drawings and specifications
- Ability to use computer-assisted drafting software (AutoCAD)
- Minimum of 3-5 years experience detailing steel structures and connections using SDS/2 and/or Tekla X-Steel software
- Ability to communicate effectively in English and/or French
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to use software like SolidEdge/Solid Works and Revit (would be an asset)
