| Description: |
The Architectural Specialist will play a key role in meeting the needs of the architectural community. Reporting to the Architectural Services Manager, the individual will be accountable for driving sales growth by seeing to the specification of Canam products on architectural specifications.
Essential Functions:
- Establishes and develops relationships with top architectural firms, primarily in Eastern Canada.
- Educates members of the architectural community on Canam's product offerings through office visits and follow-up calls.
- Provides architectural libraries with updated information on Canam’s product offerings.
- Keeps abreast of developments in the construction industry.
- Participates as required in industry-related trade shows involving the architectural community.
- Participates actively in associations representing the diverse interests of architectural, engineering and construction firms (AEC).

| Requirements: |
- University degree in architecture or engineering (with a focus on construction preferred)
- Effective planning and organizational skills
- Exceptional communication skills
- Proven ability to make presentations
- Ability to read and interpret plans
- Autonomy and a team player
- Willingness to travel (30-50%)
- 3 to 5 years’ relevant experience in the construction industry
