 Acting to reduce our ecological footprint
Canam Group is aware of the impact that our activities exert on the environment in each of the communities we operate. This is why the protection and advancement of environmental quality figures highly among the values that the Corporation shares with employees. We're actively pursuing various efforts to limit our ecological footprint on the world around us.
Development of a customized environmental management system
In 2011, Canam Group elaborated and implemented an environmental policy for its North American business locations. This policy constitutes the first of several steps to introduce an environmental management system that is specifically adapted to its fabrication activities. Through the means of indicators, the performance-based system will help to measure the improvements made year after year as well as demonstrate these ameliorations to investors and business partners.
