Appointment of Mike Burnet as Vice President, Purchasing

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Mike Burnet to the position of Vice President, Purchasing, at Canam Group. In his new role, Mike will be responsible for directing the efforts of the purchasing team towards achieving the company’s objectives both in Canada and the United States. He will report to Mario Bernard, President of Canam and Structal.

Mike, who brings to the position more than 25 years of experience in the steel industry, most recently served as Assistant Vice President, Purchasing, at Canam Group.

Appointment of Luc Pelland as President of Structal-Heavy Steel Construction

Luc Pelland will henceforth serve exclusively as President of Structal-Heavy Steel Construction, a division of Canam Group. In this capacity, he will report to Marc Dutil, President and Chief Operating Officer of Canam Group.

Luc began his career at Canam Group as Vice President, Purchasing, and subsequently accepted the challenge of assuming the position of President of Structal-Heavy Steel Construction. Luc will now be able to dedicate all his time and energy to the growth and success of Structal-Heavy Steel Construction.
