Canam Group presents Centraide with $147,711.78

Once again this year, Canam Group’s workplace campaign, held October 6-17 in our Quebec facilities to raise funds for Centraide, was a resounding success. A cheque for $147,711.78 will be presented to Centraide.

The results of the campaign were a pleasant surprise for organizers, whose goal was to raise $41,000 among employees. Various fundraising activities, such as the sale of ecological items and a charity auction, together with employee contributions generated over $73,855.89 The company’s matching contribution brought this amount up to $147,711.78 for Centraide. Money was also raised for two other charitable organizations – Healthpartners-Quebec and the Quebec division of the Canadian Red Cross – which will receive $2,149 and $1,820 respectively.

Canam Group wants to thank all of its employees and volunteers for their enthusiasm and generosity. The campaign would not have been such a success without their dedication to helping the community and their commitment to one of the company’s fundamental values: good corporate citizenship.
