New BIM Technical Manager at Technyx

On October 1, Jean-Luc Lachance took over his new duties as BIM Technical Manager, a position that was recently created at Technyx. Jean-Luc will be responsible for coordinating technological changes and the development of business processes related to the integration of BIM (Building Information Modeling) at Technyx. Jean-Luc will work out of the St. Georges office and report to Jean Thibodeau, President of Technyx and Vice President of Management Information Services at Canam Group.

“The creation of this position is in line with one of the company’s development goals, which is to lead the digital revolution that will shape the construction industry,” specified Mr. Thibodeau.

Until recently, Jean-Luc worked as a senior coordinator in the engineering systems section of the Canam Group IT Department.
